“I Hate the Man in my Basement” out on June 18, 2019

The movie I Hate the Man in my Basement that Chris stars in, will be available on streaming platforms, beginning June 18, 2019. This is a movie Chris is very proud of and can’t wait for everyone to see.

Chris himself has said the following about the movie:

I Hate the Man in my Basement is an incredibly smart, deeply moving little film. Dustin Cook, the writer/director, has a huge heart and an incredibly brave voice. It’s a difficult movie to describe in a sentence or two, because it’s complex and really smart. Essentially, the movie is about one guy, who puts another guy in his basement because that guy did something awful. Problem is, he meets someone and begins to fall in love, and now he’s oscillating between this horrible world he’s created for himself, and the new one that’s allowing him to heal.

The film’s about healing, and love. It sounds like it’s a horror movie, but it’s far from it. It’s actually a romantic comedy, and a thriller, and a drama. It’s genreless.

The film also stars Manny Montana from Good Girls, who’s incredibly soulful and talented. And Nora-Jane Noone, who is by far the most charismatic talented actress I’ve ever worked with. I felt such a connection to her.

Watch the streaming platforms from June 18 onwards to watch or download the movie.
