The Plot

Fillmore! is an animated TV series which was produced by Walt Disney Television Animation. The show was created by Scott Gimple.

Cornelius Fillmore (voiced by Orlando Brown) is a reformed juvenile delinquent and the show is based around him and his partner Ingrid Third (voiced by Tara Strong). As part of the Safety Patrol at X Middle School, Fillmore and Third solve crimes. X’s safety patrol is much more actively involved in student behavior than a typical school’s safety patrol. The role students play in solving crimes makes the safety patrol similar to a children’s CSI. The series usually presents child-friendly versions of common crimes, such as stolen scooters instead of cars, smuggling tartar sauce instead of drug smuggling, and holding illegal frog races instead of illegal street races.

The Character

Chris did voice overs for different characters on this show, so we can’t just name one. He did Jamie / Lab Coat Kid #1 in episode 7 (Red Robins Don’t Fly), Ralph / Theo in episode 8 (Next Stop, Armageddon), Lab Coat Kid / Horn Leader in episode 14 (A Forgotten Yesterday), Jonas in episode 16 (Codename: Electric Haircut), Toby in episode 17 (The Currency Of Doubt), Tyler in episode 20 (South of Friendship, North of Honor) and Jamie Townsend in episode 26 (This Savior, a Snitch).

Interestingly, Chris’s brother Sean also did voice overs on the show in episodes 13 and 15 and Chris’s Joan of Arcadia co-star and friend Michael Welch voiced Sherman, Brad Parnassus and Josh, Wade in 11 episodes altogether.
